Rob is a seasoned mining executive with a strong track record in building successful mining companies.

He began his career as a mining industry auditor and consultant at EY, went on to be founding member of two successful mining ventures, and is now the CEO of RUA Gold.

Rob holds a Chartered Accountant designation and a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from Curtin University.

He has held several positions in the mining industry. He was a consultant to BHP and gained his hands-on experience in mining operations at a site-based role at Eurasian Resources’ Frontier Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

As a founder, Rob has been instrumental in developing multiple mining ventures. He was part of the founding team at Leagold, which was successfully acquired by Equinox Gold, and he later co-founded Aris Mining.
